Covid-19, New Rules to Travel to Montenegro Enter in Force
Starting January 03, 2022 new rules enter in force for all those who want to travel to Montenegro. Foreign Ministry informed that from midnight 3 January 2022 onwards in order to enter Montenegro travellers will need both a negative coronavirus test (eitheEr PCR or rapid antigen) and proof of vaccination or recovery from coronavirus.
All travellers over 18 must present their vaccination passport with the final vaccine dose (including booster doses) must have been administered not earlier than 6 months prior to travel.
Travellers with only a negative coronavirus test will no longer be able to enter Montenegro.
The only exceptions to this are for Montenegrin nationals or those who have Montenegrin residency, who will be required to self-isolate for 10 days if they cannot provide proof of vaccination or recovery from coronavirus.
Proof of vaccination will still not be required to enter Montenegro for children under the age of 18 from the 3 January.
