Don Bosko Shooting, Police Identifies Involved Persons

It seems that the Tirana Police has tracked down specific persons suspected of being involved in the shooting at Don Bosko, where Mimoza Paja was killed and 6 other people were injured.

The news was confirmed by the Director of the Police of Tirana, Tonin Vocaj.

"It is an investigation that will take the necessary time. The police have information about actual persons involved in this event. Due to investigative secrecy, we cannot provide details at this time, but if we have information we will pass it on", said Vocaj.

Around 9 o'clock in the evening on March 12, a mafia assassination would be recorded in the Don Bosko area, in the direction of the bar owned by Fation Murataj, a name known to the police.

The 58-year-old bartender Mimoza Paja lost her life from the bullets and 5 people were injured, among them the uncle of the bar owner. The minor granddaughter of the victim was also slightly injured, from the glass fragments that were broken by the hail of bullets.

It is suspected that the targets were family members or friends of Fation Murataj, while the latter himself left Albania a few hours before the assassination attempt in the company of his two friends, Endrit Dokle and Gentian Reci.

It is suspected that after going first to Kosovo, then he left in the direction of Turkey to hide from the Police, as he should have been under the security measure of "house arrest".
