The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Gazment Bardhi submitted in Parliament a project law to increase the pensions at least 300 euro until 2029. 

According to him, this is the real treatment for them, as the standard of life changed.

"The dignified treatment of one of the most vulnerable sections of the country is an indicator of an emancipated society, in social peace and where the many years of work and sacrifices of our fellow citizens are valued.

Specifically, the intervention in the law aims to establish a minimum standard for the amount of pension benefits in our country, regardless of the type of this pension, starting from 2024 at the average pension amount of around 18 thousand ALL and continuing in upward progression for 5 next years, in order that in 2029 there will be no lower pensions than 32 thousand lek (about 300 euros)," said Bardhi.
