Drug Gang Dismantled by Italy, Ten Albanians Handcuffed

Italian police have destroyed a criminal group that was involved in drug trafficking, mainly in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. 

This group has trafficked about 700 kilograms of cocaine and hashish worth 35 million EUR from 2020 to 2022, while 11 people have been arrested, 10 of whom are Albanians. 

The following were arrested: Klenis Qevani, 38 years old, Etmond Qevani, 46 years old, Erjon Arkaxhiu, 37 years old, Roland Hysollari, 44 years old, Sokol Sallaku, 41 years old, Elidon Shkalla, 27 years old, Geri Skilja, 28 years old, Arjan Ndoka, 48 years old, Renato Qevani, 31 years old, Kleon Mema, 38 years old, as well as Ferdinando Bongiovanni, 61 years old. 

Furthermore, over one million EUR worth of assets were seized, including real estate, cars and valuable items.
