Edi Reja Presented at New Team

In a surprise move, the former coach of the National Team, Edi Reja, has taken over the management of the Slovenian team ND Gorica.

The news has been confirmed by the club itself through a post on the official website, as the Italian will succeed Miran Srebrni, dismissed for negative results.

Together with Reja, the assistants Serxhio Porrini and Luixhi Febrari, who have been his assistants in the Albanian national team, have also approached the Slovenian team.

During his long coaching career, Reja managed many Italian clubs. He won the Serie B championship with Brescia and Vicenza and the runner-up title with Cagliari and Naples. Also, the 77-year-old managed Lazio, Atalanta and Hajduk Split, while he has managed only Albania in the national team.
