The President of the European Commission spoke at the joint conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, after the EU summit with the countries of the region in Tirana. She praised the Albanian hospitality, while she once again pointed out the EU's support for the region. 

"It was a fantastic experience that we had in Tirana. You are a great host, we will never forget that show we saw. Our support for the region truly comes from the heart. We strongly believe that we must work together. You said you were ready to give your life. We don't want your life, we want our lives, to live our lives together. 

A very clear message of being together. A partnership summit with deep, clear, direct and honest conversations. 

We want to face not only the challenges that come from the war but also the consequences that come from the energy sector. We face this challenge together, reflecting everything we do in the EU in the Western Balkans. The package for the energy sector is divided into two parts. 500 million euros for the budget, help for families, another 500 million euros are support for the infrastructure for the energy of the future.
