Ex-Elbasani Judge Sentenced to Two Years Probation

Special Court has sentenced the former judge of Elbasan, Zamira Vyshka, to 2 years of probation, accused of corruption.

In addition, the court decided for her "Revocation of the right to exercise public functions", for a period of 3 years.

Meanwhile, for the lawyer Ilir Pashaj, who was suspected of giving an amount of ALL 4 million to the judge, the court imposed a sentence of 2 years in prison, which due to the shortened trial, is reduced to 1.4 years in prison.

Vyshka was arrested last July, on the suspicion that he had received ALL 4 million in order to grant a reduced sentence for citizen Xuliano Musai, accused of wounding.

The other two defendants in this case, Taulant Romallari and Andrea Tirana, were sentenced by the court to 1.4 and 6 months of imprisonment each. Because the defendants have completed their sentence with the period of detention, the court ordered their release from the cell.
