After a decade on the run, Florenc Çapja is being extradited from Dubai to Albania. AlbanianDailyNews.com has obtained exclusive footage of his extradition, and he is expected to arrive in Albania late this Friday.

Çapja has been sentenced to life imprisonment in Albania for a double murder and is also suspected of involvement in several other serious crimes.

He and his uncle, Ardian Çapja - alleged leader of the notorious Çapja criminal group in Elbasan - are accused of orchestrating the 2012 murder of a father and son, Nezir and Gentian Beqiri.

Florenc Çapja is also facing charges related to the attempted assassination of former Elbasan traffic police officer Fadil Mema in 2006. That case is currently being retried in the Elbasan Court after the High Court overturned a 2019 ruling that had dismissed it.
