The Prosecutor's Office of Fier has registered the criminal proceeding no. 1162 of year 2020, for the criminal offense of "Laundering the proceeds of the criminal offense or criminal activity" provided for by article 287 of the Criminal Code. This proceeding has been registered based on the referral of the Local Police Directorate of Fier, due to the suspicion created that the citizen A.M. is involved in criminal activity in the field of trafficking narcotic substances and actions carried out to cover the real origin of assets in direct or indirect ownership by him.

As part of the criminal proceedings, the Fier Prosecutor's Office, in cooperation with the judicial police services of the Fier Local Police Directorate, has carried out a complete verification of the economic and legal actions of the citizen A.M. and/or the parties related to him, in order to identify the assets that these persons own/possess, as well as whether these persons had legal resources for the creation of assets. After carrying out their accounting verifications and expertise, it was found that they do not have legal sources for the creation of wealth in their possession.

Consequently, based on law no. 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On the prevention and combating of organized crime, trafficking, corruption and other crimes through preventive measures against property", as amended, it was requested in the Court to take a preventive measure of a property nature, which consists in the seizure of certain immovable and movable properties. Request accepted by the Court.

Following the decision of the Court and the order of the Prosecutor, some of the seized items were executed by the judicial police, as follows:

1. Property of the type "Area", with an area of 2281m2; 2. Property of the type "Area", with an area of 4550m2; 3. "Unit" type property, with an area of 200 m2; 4. Property of the "Land" type, with an area of 210 m2. 5. Property of the " Land " type, with an area of 210m2. 6. Property of the " Land " type, with an area of 210m2. 7. Property type "Unit" 2-storey. 8. "Unit" type property with an area of 100 m2. 9. Property type "Apartment" no. 41 (3+1), with a total area of 127.4. 10. Property of the type "Parking lot no. 29" on the -1st floor, of 30.14 m2. 11. Vehicles of the brand "Lamborghini", model "Urus", year of production 2018. 12. "Mercedes-Benz" brand vehicle, "G-63 AMG" model, year of production 2020. 13. "Volkswagen" brand vehicle, "Touran" model, year of production 2013. 14. "BMW" brand vehicle, model "X5" 3.0d, year of production 2007. 15. "Audi" brand vehicle, "S-8" model, year of production 2021. 16. "Audi" brand vehicle, "RS-Q8" model, year of production 2021. 17. "Mitsubishi" brand vehicle, "L200" model, year of production 2014. 18. Vehicle of the brand "Mercedes Benz", model "C220CDI", year of production 2001. 19. "BMW" brand vehicle, "X5" model, year of production 2014. 20. "KIA" brand vehicle, "Carnival" model, year of manufacture 2000. 21. Vehicle of the brand "Audi", model "Q7", year of production 2016. 22. "KIA" brand vehicle, "Carnival" model, year of manufacture 2000. 23. Bus brand "Neoplan", model "N515/3SHDHC", year of production 2003. 24. Bank account in the value of about 120,000 Euros. 25. Precious items of considerable value.

The assets above are a part of the assets that have been managed to be executed by the judicial police as the work continues for the execution of the seizure of other items that are subject to seizure.

Also, in the function of criminal proceedings no. 1162, of 2020, registered for the criminal offense "Laundering the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", provided for by Article 287 of the Criminal Code, based on the request of the prosecution body and the Court's decision dated 11.06.2024, control of the residence or premises of the persons subject to investigation was allowed. During the control, the following were seized:

• A "Ferrari" vehicle, model California, worth about 130,000 Euros.
• "Rolex" brand watches, as well as jewelry and other precious items of considerable value.

In total, the value of the property/assets seized on account of the property and criminal proceedings, amounts to around 1.8 million euros.
