Tirana Prosecution Office registered a criminal proceeding over the fire that erupted at the Mother Teresa" Hospital Center Emergency on February 11.

Through an official statement, this prosecution informed that the proceeding no. 1587 was registered on 29.02.2024 for the criminal offence "Destruction of property by fire", provided by article 151 of the Criminal Code.

This criminal proceeding was registered without persons in the investigation, to investigate the fire that occurred on the first floor of the "Mother Teresa" Hospital Center Emergency in the early hours of the morning of 11.02.2024.

The prosecution has ordered the administration of all evidence to document the cause and value of the damage caused, as well as the persons responsible for causing the damage.

With the administration of procedural acts and expert acts, a conclusion will be drawn on the cause of the fire and the initial hearth.
