The first meeting of the Anti-corruption committee was developed this Friday.

As it warned the opposition boycotted the meeting, not agreeing with the committee. 

The chairman of the committee, Fatmir Xhafaj urged to the opposition to be present and collaborate for a better future of Albania. 

"I am sorry that the opposition has not responded to this invitation for cooperation, this common obligation to engage in this committee that originates from the constitution and the rules of the assembly.

This committee will address issues of vital importance for the future of the country, beyond the interest of our parties, it serves the strengthening and modernization of the state, the future of our country," said Xhafaj.
