Flood Situation Worsens in Shkodra

Weather and floods situation in the Municipality of Shkodra has worsened this Thursday, compared to a day ago. 

Authorities have revealed that there is water in the yards of 30 apartments, out of 15 that were yesterday in the village of Obot. 

Meanwhile, the total flooded area is 1400 hectares, which means there is an increase of 80 hectares. 

"Today, January 26, the level of the Drin river (Bahçallek bridge hydrometer) marks the quota of 6.40, it has increased by 25 cm at 08:00 on January 25, 2023 (max quota of 7.50 m) 

The lake level (Buna bridge hydrometer) is 8.60 m and has increased by 5 cm at 08.00 on 25.01.2023 (max quota 8.70 m). 

The total flooded area in Shkoder Municipality is 1400 Ha, there is an increase of 80 Ha at 08.00 on 25.01.2023 

Ana e Mali Administrative Unit 1300 Ha flooded. Oboti street has 90 cm of water, increased by 15 cm at 08.00 on 25.01.2023. 

Oblica 1 water supply is out of order. There is water in the yards of 30 apartments, from 15 that were yesterday in the village of Obot. 

On the Oboti road, a high-speed vehicle is operating together with 4 army forces. 

Dajç Administrative Unit 100 Ha of agricultural land. 

The Shirq-Darragjat road is impassable, there is water at a height of 80 cm compared to yesterday. 

EC groups in Shkodër Municipality are continuously monitoring the situation", as announced.
