The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, held a meeting with the UK Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Sir Stuart Peach. The focus of the meeting was the situation in the region and cooperation within the Security Council. 

Minister Xhaçka and Sir Peach agreed that the war in Ukraine requires the advancement of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and the improvement of the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Chief Diplomat Xhaçka expressed gratitude for the UK Government's commitment to the security of the Western Balkans.

"Great pleasure to host WB's Special Envoy Sir Stuart Peach. Very good conversation on situation in WB & cooperation in UNSC. Agreed with Sir Peach that war in Ukraine necessitates advancing Kosovo - Serbia dialogue & improving situation in BiH. Grateful for dedication of UK Govt to WB security," Xhaçka wrote.
