The German tourist who went missing on the Karaburun Peninsula a day ago, has been found, as announced Sunday. 

Orikum police officers searched for almost 12 hours to find the 73-year-old German along with his dog, who had lost contact since Saturday morning. 

According to the police of Orikum, which continues to be in Karaburun, the 73-year-old tourist is fine and has sent a signal from where he is in "Skalom te Beget", a bay near Bristan, behind the base of Pashaliman. 

Based on local media's reports, the missing and now found German tourist is passionate about hiking and mostly unexplored places. 

Meanwhile, the police have contacted the 73-year-old man and are going to the bay where he is staying.
