Two police officers, a custom official and two others were arrested this Monday in Gjirokastra, for 'Abuse of office' committed in collaboration.

The arrested is Alfred Kondi, Chief of the Sector of the Organized Crime, the vice commissar Xhevit Dine, specialist in the section of the Intelligence and the Criminal Archive while was declared wanted another inspector Feim Onjea.

The other arrested are Bledar Mustafaraj, a custom official and Ilir Muho and Leodor Kazo.

From several months of investigations with special methods, it was documented the involvement of citizens in the criminal offense of trafficking illegal immigrants, the favoring of various citizens in the smuggling of goods and the organization of games of chance in the form of sports betting, with the aim of profiting illegally of monetary values.
