The assets of citizen D.A., suspected of involvement and being part of a criminal group engaged in the production and sale of narcotics, were seized at Gjirokastra Prosecution’s request.

Preliminary investigations conducted by Gjirokastra Prosecution Office, revealed that this person cannot account for his movable and immovable assets through legitimate income or financial sources. Furthermore, there are well-founded suspicions, supported by evidence, of his involvement in crimes committed by an organized criminal group and in offenses outlined in Articles 283, 283/a, and 284/a of the Criminal Code.

The investigations under this case identified immovable properties, whose purchase cannot be accounted for by the income of the individual and his family members. These properties are suspected to derive from the criminal activities of the aforementioned individual, specifically:

-          Property type "Land" spanning an area of 350 m², in the city of Gjirokastër;

-          Property type "Land" spanning an area of 1500 m² and a building of 23 m² in Lazarat, Gjirokastër;

-          Property type "Land" spanning an area of 450 m², in Grehot, Gjirokastër;

-          Property type "Land" spanning an area of 1646 m² in Grehot, Gjirokastër;

-          Property type "Agriculture land" spanning an area of 7000 m² in the village of Arshi Lengo, Gjirokastër;

-          Commercial building spanning an area of 6500 m², constructed in 2005, in the village of Kordhocë, Lazarat;

-          Shop and warehouse, built in 2013, in the village of Kordhocë;

-          Mini football field (pitch) with an area of 500 m² and a one-story building with an area of 37.2 m², constructed in Lazarat;

-          Motor vehicle "Mercedes Benz".
