Greece, 11 Albanians Arrested as Part of Drug Trafficking Group

An Albanian criminal group that distributed drugs on the island of Corfu has been beaten by the Greek police. 

It is reported that 14 people have been arrested by the police, while 5 others have been declared wanted by the Greek authorities. Among the persons involved in the criminal group are 11 Albanian citizens, many of them from Saranda. 

A 39-year-old man from Saranda, Enivled Aliaj, who was wanted by Interpol Tirana for attempted murder and domestic violence, as well as a former Greek policeman, has fallen into the clutches of the police. 

Enivled Aliaj was previously arrested in Corfu on April 14, 2023, in connection with the arrest warrant issued by Albania.
