Italy Hit by Floods due to Heavy Rainstorm
Italy has been hit by a heavy rainstorm Tuesday. According to the Italian media, the area of Campania is the most affected, where the roads have turned into rivers, taking cars and everything else.
Footage shows that the powerful current dragged mud and debris downstream and the city's streets turned into rivers and take with them several cars and various objects.
Mayor Costantino Giordano called on his fellow citizens not to leave the house. "The situation is extremely delicate in the entire upper part of Monteforte" - the mayor wrote in a post on Facebook.
