Italy's 'Libra' Vessel to arrive in Albania Monday with 49 Migrants on Board

Some 49 people, asylum seekers are expected to arrive at the port of Shengjin on Monday morning from Lampedusa.

The agreement between Albania and Italy is expected to resume this week after two months of suspension.

The transfer of migrants to centers across the Adriatic for faster repatriation, which Prime Minister Meloni has said several times that she does not want to give up, has been entrusted to the Navy patrol ship "Cassiopeia", which already monitors the sea off Lampedusa.

This time the Italian government hopes for a better outcome. Now those who will decide will no longer be the magistrates of the immigration section, but the judges of the Court of Appeal, as provided for in the new law requested by the executive and which entered into force on January 11.
