Construction laborer has passed away this Wednesday afternoon after falling from the second floor of the building where he was working, in the area known as "The Triangle".

Loss of balance seems to have been the cause of the worker’s fall, but the multiple injuries caused by the fall itself seem to have resulted in his passing away.

In the meantime, the police have gone at the scene, trying to clarify the circumstances of the incident, while the identity of the victim is still unknown.

A similar event took place on Tuesday afternoon in Saranda, in which two citizens were seriously injured. The damaged were working on a roof in the village of Shelegar while the strong wind pushed the sheet metal where they were working and knocked them both to the ground.

Following the event, the two workers Mehmet Metali, 35, and Sokol Cukari, 31, were immediately transported to the "Stefan Mekshi" emergency room in Saranda. One of them, Sokol Cukari, underwent leg surgery, while 35-year-old Metali was transported by helicopter to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana due to spinal injuries.
