Lezha, Investigations Launched as Citizen Admits Having Sold Votes

Footage of a citizen admitting that he had received ALL 200.000 for 4 votes for the general elections of April 25 have caused him to get accompanied to by the Lezha police and investigations to get launched on the issue this Thursday.

The person in question claimed that he had received the money from the police, but did not reveal from who he had gotten them. However, the Albaniandailynews.com has learned that the accompanied citizen carries the initials G.P.

Meanwhile, verifications on potential electoral crimes charges continue and the competent authorities are working on identifying the persons involved in this vote-rigging scheme.

On his part, citizen G.P. featured in the video, had just returned from work in Montenegro, where he works as a seasonal worker.
