Lezha Schools Not Ready to Receive Students; DP
The Democratic Party through its former MP Lindita Metaliaj accused the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama that quake-damaged schools are not ready to welcome students.
DP said that Premier Rama has not kept his promises and that no reconstruction has been done.
"We are only two weeks away from the beginning of the new school year and the schools of the city of Lezha are not ready to open their doors and welcome students on September 14.
This shows once again that Edi Rama deceived, lied to the Albanians and the people of Lezha when he promised that all schools that were damaged by the earthquake of November 26 will be reopened by the beginning of the new school year.
This shows the failure and incompetence of Rama's government and his personal irresponsibility.
Therefore, on behalf of the Democratic Party and the citizens of Lezha, I make an appeal to Edi Rama and tell him to pay attention to Lezha, to our children because their life and health are the number one priority.
The solution is one and only: The removal of Edi Rama as soon as possible,†she said.
