List of Tirana’s Roads Blocked for ‘Day Without Cars’

Citizens in Tirana will have to lock their cars and move on foot this Tuesday, which has been called as the “Day without Cars” and is being implemented to save fuel amid the crisis.

According to the plan, the traffic will be limited from 09:00 to 15:00, in the following segments:

• Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" from the Ministry of Interior to the beginning of "Former Hotel Dajti".

• Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" from the Bridge of "former Hotel Dajti" to the intersection with the street "Ismail Qemali".

• The segment of the street "Myslym Shyri" from the intersection of the High Court towards the Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit".

The traffic of vehicles, emergency vehicles and the State Police will be done, according to the movement plan below:

For blocking the segment on the Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" from the Ministry of Interior to the beginning of "Ish- Hotel Dajti" and Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" from the Bridge of "ish Hotel Dajti" to the intersection with the street "Ismail Qemali"

• Traffic of vehicles, emergency vehicles and the State Police will be done in the streets "Lek Dukagjini", street "Ibrahim Rugova", street "Abdyl Frashëri", "Papa Gjon Pali II", in Blv "Zhan D 'Ark" and Blv "Bajram Curri"

For blocking the segment of the street "Myslym Shyri" from the intersection of the High Court with the exit to the Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit"

• The traffic of vehicles, emergency vehicles and the State Police will take place at the intersection of “Myslym Shyri” street with “Ibrahim Rugova” street, forced turn to the right.

Regarding the itinerary of the movement of vehicles on urban lines, the movement will continue as follows:

• All Lines that cross the street "Abdi Toptani" to deviate to the street "Ibrahim Rrugova" in the direction of Blv "Bajram Curri".

• The line "New Tirana" will deviate to "Wilson Square" and "UFO".
