Lushnja Father and Son Passport Forgers Arrested
Lushnja police have arrested on Thursday evening father and son, Gramos Hoxha and Xhoi Hoxha, who are accused of providing forged passports to citizens from third countries.
During the operation codenamed “Passportâ€, the blue uniforms seized currency used in Bangladesh worth 5,600 euros, 11 fake passports, other allegedly forged documents, 6 mobile phones, 1 laptop, 1 vehicle and found two illegal immigrants sheltering in an apartment rented by the two men.

“Pursuant to the plan of measures to prevent and crack down on the illegal activity of providing assistance to foreign nationals for illegal border crossing and their transit in the Albanian territory, destined for EU countries, based on the information received through the police , the services of the Lushnja Police Commissariat in cooperation with the investigative structures of DVP Fier and the Special Force "Eagle" successfully finalized the police operation codenamed ‘Passport’, in which the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: GH, 53 years old and Xh . H., 24 years old, (father and son), resident in Karbunara, Lushnja.
These citizens, in the ‘Kongresi’ neighborhood, Lushnja, had rented an apartment, which served as a base to shelter clandestine in order to traffic them to European Union countries by providing them with suspected forged passports.
During the search of the apartment, two foreign nationals were found and 11 passports, other suspected forged documents, 5600 Euros, a quantity of money used in Bangladesh, 1 laptop, 6 mobile phones and 1 were seized as material evidence. Renault type vehicle.
