“Pursuant to the plan of measures to prevent and crack down on the illegal activity of providing assistance to foreign nationals for illegal border crossing and their transit in the Albanian territory, destined for EU countries, based on the information received through the police , the services of the Lushnja Police Commissariat in cooperation with the investigative structures of DVP Fier and the Special Force "Eagle" successfully finalized the police operation codenamed ‘Passport’, in which the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: GH, 53 years old and Xh . These citizens, in the ‘Kongresi’ neighborhood, Lushnja, had rented an apartment, which served as a base to shelter clandestine in order to traffic them to European Union countries by providing them with suspected forged passports.
