Money Laundering Director Dismissed, Successor Appointed

General Director of Money Laundering, Iris Ago, is relieved of her duties. Ervin Koçi has been appointed in her place. 

The decision was made this Wednesday at the meeting of the Council of Ministers.

DECISION ON THE RELEASE AND APPOINTMENT OF THE GENERAL DIRECTOR OF THE GENERAL DIRECTORATE FOR THE PREVENTION OF MONEY LAUNDERING 

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution and Point 3, Article 21, of Law No. 9917, dated 19.5.2008, "On the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism", amended, with the proposal of the Minister of Finance and Economy, Council of Ministers 

DECIDED: 

1. Iris Ago, Director General of the General Directorate of Prevention of Money Laundering, is relieved of this duty. 

2. Ervin Koçi is appointed General Director of the General Directorate of Money Laundering Prevention. 

This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette".
