The Deputy Prime Minister as well as Minister of Energy Belinda Balluku said that the oil reserves in Shpirag well have already been confirmed and it is up to the Dutch company Shell to confirm how it can bring this amount of oil to the surface.

During the statement to the media after the government meeting, Balluku responded to the media's interest in the lack of publication in January of data on oil extraction in Shpirag.

She emphasized that when Shell is ready, no doubt they will come out publicly and provide answers. 

Balluku emphasized that the oil was found in the 5th kilometer. According to her, the oil discovery has been found and confirmed by Shell.
