One was arrested while six others were under investigations due to the violent protest in front of Tirana Municipality last Friday.

According to police, the arrested is Bledar Krasniqi, 39-year-old. He was accused for hitting police officers due to the duty, for property destruction and for causing panic in the public.

Meanwhile, police is investigating six others for the same criminal offenses.

From months, opposition's supporters are protesting in front of Tirana Municipality urging the resignation of Mayor, Erion Veliaj.

They throw molotov bombs, burn tires and throw inks or eggs towards the municipality building.
