A car accident happened this Sunday morning in Serbia, about 12 kilometers southwest of Valjeva, near the Rovni dam. 

According to preliminary information, a bus ran off the road leaving one person dead, while 16 other passengers were injured. 

The minibus, which was mainly transporting pensioners from the area of ??Ose?ina, who were going to the region of Valjeva, left the road, destroying the side barriers and ending up 50 meters down the slope. 

The injured have suffered multiple injuries to their limbs and are receiving the necessary medical treatment at the hospital in Valjeva. Local authorities have announced that the number of dead could be higher, but so far there is no official confirmation. 

According to the Serbian media, the overturning of the minibus happened when the driver got out of the vehicle without lifting the handbrake, as a result the bus fell downhill and then overturned. The police and the investigative team are at the scene and are working to clarify the causes of this serious accident.
