For two hours, the opposition and its supporters protested Tuesday in front of Tirana Municipality, urging for the resignation of Mayor Erion Veliaj, after the arrest of his main directors.

Same as the other five protest held in the same area, the opposition throw Molotov bombs, eggs, apples and other objects towards the headquarters of the municipality.

They tried to enter with force inside the institution but were stopped by the police officers.

Police informed that a police officer lost consciousness and needed the help of the ambulance, while the door of the institution burned in fire, after the Molotov bombs.
