Increased competition at Rinas Airport following the entry of low cost companies and the expansion of destinations has led to falling ticket prices.

To Italian cities you can travel today with 20 EUR in one direction, in German cities from 15-30 EUR, while in distant destinations, if you book early in time, tickets range from 60-100 EUR in one direction. For example in Abu Dhabi, tickets range from 30 to 80 EUR one way, depending on the season and the dates you book.

For the comparison of ticket prices in different destinations, the dates are taken around the end of December (23-28), when tickets are generally more expensive due to the increased movements of the holiday season and February (around 19-24), when tickets are generally cheaper.

Italy

To Milan, on December 25-28, the return ticket costs 60 EUR, with Wiiz Air. In February, when the flow of movements is lower, prices drop to 20 EUR return and 20 return.

Rome is a bit more expensive than Milan with Wizz Air, as travel is not daily. To the Italian capital, going on December 23 costs 28 EUR, but the return is more expensive at 145 EUR. In February, tickets fluctuate around 70-120 EUR round trip.

In 2020 London overtook Italian cities such as Milan and Rome, becoming the main flight destination from Rinas. On December 23 the flight to London costs 65 EUR, with Wizz Air, while the return on December 29 is a minimum of 100 EUR. In February, London is accessible at 70-90 EUR one way. About two years ago, one-way tickets cost at least double.

Istanbul

With Air Albania, in Istanbul at the end of December the ticket costs from 53 EUR one way, from Rinas Airport. The same prices are in other months.

With the other operator Pegasus, in December going to Istanbul on December 24 costs 90 EUR and return on December 27 45 EUR. In February tickets go down to 45-50 EUR one way.

Vienna

In Vienna with Wizz Air, a return ticket costs 35 EUR on December 24, while the return on December 27 is 110 EUR. In February a return ticket to Vienna costs 90 EUR.

With Austrian Airlines, in December tickets cost from 97 EUR one way and at these levels are in the coming months.

Germany

Last year there was a significant increase in destinations and operators flying to German cities. To Munich, with Wizz Air, for departure on December 24 is 30 EUR, while return 110 EUR. In February tickets are reduced to 30 EUR one way.

To Berlin, one way ticket is 35 EUR on December 24 and return 65 EUR on December 27. In February you can go to Berlin for 29 EUR and return for 15 EUR.

New destinations

In Barcelona in February you can travel from Tirana with 15 EUR one way, or 30 EUR in total, with Wizz Air. On December 25 Barcelona is accessible with 30 EUR, while the return on the 28th costs 100 EUR.

In Madrid at the end of December you can travel for 55 EUR one way (as well as return), while in February, tickets are around these levels.

From the end of April you can travel to Malmo, Sweden with 100 EUR round trip, to Billund, Denmark with 130 EUR round trip.
