PM Attends Summit of European Political Community in Granada

Prime Minister Edi Rama has arrived this Thursday in Granada, Spain, where the summit of the European Political Community is being held. Rama was also accompanied by the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak. 

47 European and Western Balkan leaders will gather today in Granada, Spain, as part of the summit of the European Political Community. Also present are Prime Minister Edi Rama and the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani. In the statement that is expected to be published at the end of the summit, the "increasing commitment to the expansion of the Block" will be underlined. 

The statement published by some media points out that "looking towards a larger union, both the EU and the future member countries should get ready". The tense situation between Kosovo and Serbia will receive special attention at this summit. Olaf Scholz, the chancellor of Germany has stated that it is important to find a peaceful solution. According to the media, European leaders are expected to sit the presidents of the two countries, Vjosa Osmani and Aleksandër Vucic, at a table.
