Police Checked Fier and Vora for Ervis Martinaj, Ex-Chief of Police Says
New details have come to light this Friday in relation to the search operations carried out by the State Police for the much-wanted Ervis Martinaj, also known as "the king of sports betting".
During an interview, the former director of Dibra Police, Shemsi Prençi revealed that police checks were carried out on Thursday, October 6, in two different areas of Albania: Fier and Vora.
Furthermore, Premçi stated that the police had received information about the movements and contacts of the last few hours that could lead them to Ervis Martinaj's tracks.
"The police have received information about the movements and contacts of the last few hours, meanwhile they have made several checks today in several apartments in the territory of the district of Tirana on the outskirts of Vora and in the district of Fier, in Lushnja.
Focusing the investigations to discover the truth and learn this mess about the Martinaj case, the Police Prosecutor's Office, beyond the capacities of the Lac Prosecutor's Office, should set up a real group of experts", said the former Police Director.
