A fatal accident has been recorded this Saturday morning on the Rrëshen-Rrubik road segment. 

Based on the available information, a "Chevrolet" type vehicle, which was driven by a Montenegrin citizen, collided with a "Benz" vehicle, which was driven by a 56-year-old police officer of Mirdita Police Station. 

As a result of the accident, the police officer, who had just finished his shift and was returning home, passed away. 

On his part, the driver of the other vehicle is in the hospital. 

Meanwhile, it is suspected that the cause of the accident was the wrong overtaking in violation of the rules of the "Chevrolet" driven by the Montenegrin.
