Powerful Earthquake Jolts Southern Italy

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 was recorded around Wednesday midnight in the south of Italy, in Molise, with the epicenter in the province of Campobasso. 

According to data from the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, the earthquake had a depth of 23 kilometers. 

The earthquake was also felt in several other areas such as Campania, Puglia, Abruzzo and Lazio, causing panic among residents, who immediately took to the streets of the country. 

Italian authorities, from the first checks carried out, reported that fortunately, there was no damage caused on people of the buildings.
