I was said to receive the news for the early death of Gjon Lulgjuraj, a prominent personality of the Albanian community in the United States of America, chairman of the 75-year-old American Aano.

Ideator and executive for three decades of the first Albanian radio program for the Albanian Diaspora in Michigan and Florida, who stood out as a tireless activist in the service of the national case and strengthening Albanian-American ties.

The premature death of Gjon Lulgjuraj is a great loss not only for his family but also for the entire Albanian-American community, to whom I express deeper condolences.

Personalities such as Gjon Lulgjuraj, with their work, contribution and life, are good for the nation.

May his memory be unforgettable and rest in peace!
