A photo published on social networks showing the former Minister of the Interior Saimir Tahiri in a cell in the company of Klement Balili, Safet Bajri and another person has evoked numerous reactions on the network. 

They are seen in photographs consuming food inside the cell in Kosova e Lushnje prison. 

The General Directorate of Prisons has provided an explanation for the photo that has been circulating on the network today, saying that during the time when this photo was taken, the four people were imprisoned in the same sector. 

The Directorate of Prisons emphasizes that in the Kosova e Lushnje prison, food is always served in the prisoners' rooms, as there is no collective canteen for eating food. 

Regarding the claims for alcoholic beverages, the Directorate says that it is obvious that there are bottles of water on the table, as well as glasses of soft drinks. 

In no case was there a violation, and the photo in question was part of several photos taken by the staff of the "Kosovo e Lushnje" prison, during a normal day in the Institution, in accordance with the regulations, the response says.
