The British Ambassador, Alastair King-Smith, had a positive meeting with, Edi Rama today reviewing the strong and growing partnership between Albania and the UK. Albania remains one of our most important partners globally.

He relayed the British Prime Minister’s agreement for the UK to support the next phase of Albania’s efforts on reform of rule of law and anti-corruption, including with the Albanian State Police and Albanian Judiciary and looked forward to forthcoming high-level visits to intensify our collaboration.

They also agreed steps to expand the growing trade partnership between the UK and Albania, including in the field of defence and the forthcoming high-level business events in London for all Western Balkan countries.
