Serbia Invites Kosovo to Join 'Open Balkans'

Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabiç, has publicly invited Kosovo again to join the "Open Balkans". It is even said that the invitation to join this initiative brings an incredible benefit from it.

"Citizens living in the region will really benefit a lot from this initiative," Brnabic said. According to her, the call to join "Open Balkan" is always open, emphasizing that this initiative is supported by Belgrade, Skopje and Tirana, which gives young people the opportunity to stay in the region, to see more employment opportunities.

At the meeting, which was also chaired by NATO officials and the Swiss Ambassador to Belgrade, Brnabic said that the "Open Balkans" is an exclusively regional initiative that provides for the free movement of capital, goods, services and people. Meanwhile, Kosovo continues to oppose becoming part of this initiative, in which Serbia, Albania and North Macedonia have joined forces.
