An American woman was found dead this Friday morning in Shkodra.

Police confirmed that the victim is Sandra Holley. 

So far police suspects that the 57-year-old Brandon Saporito killed his wife with a knife 53-year-old, after returning drunk in their home.

She died immediately after the severe injuries. 

After the murder, Saporito tried to kill himself by cutting the veins of the hands, but he ended up in hospital.

Further investigations are being developed by the prosecution.
