SP Requests Berisha's Exclusion from Plenary Sessions
The women MPs of the Socialist Party have made a request for the exclusion of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha from the plenary sessions in the longest period of time allowed in the regulations.
The request was proposed by former minister Anila Denaj, who said that Sali Berisha should apologize for gender discrimination.
"Sali Berisha does not avoid any discrimination due to gender. We are convinced that deputy Sali Berisha should not be allowed to participate in the session if he does not ask for a public apology", declared Denaj.
This request was met with revolt by the democratic MPs in the hall who began to hit the tables.
