Stranded German Tourists Saved by Police in Vlora
Vlora Volice has made it possible this Thursday to find and rescue two German tourists who were stranded in Grama Bay.
After receiving the notification, the services of Orikum Police Station and those of Delta Force have organized the work to help the 2 tourists.
Following several hours of search, in conditions of darkness, the Police services found the 2 tourists who, during the exploration, had remained isolated in Grama Bay, due to the steep terrain of the area.
Fortunately, the blue uniforms have made it possible to find the tourists, who are in good health, although one of them was bitten by a dog.
"Yesterday evening, the National Emergency Services notified the Vlora operating room that, due to the steep terrain, 2 German tourists were stranded in Grama Bay and that one of them had been bitten by a dog.
Immediately after receiving this notification, the services of the Orikum Police Station and those of Delta Force have organized the work to go to the aid of the 2 tourists. After several hours of searching, in conditions of darkness, the Police services have made it possible to find 2 tourists who, during the exploration, had remained isolated in Grama Bay, due to the steep terrain of the area.
After the localization and finding, the 2 tourists were transported by the Border Police vessel, in order to provide medical assistance as quickly as possible.
Both tourists are in good health.
German tourists have thanked the Police and support services for the immediate response and professionalism shown to help tourists visiting Vlora and all of Albania.
