Temperatures Up to 40 Celsius Degrees Expected Sunday

According to MeteoAlb, Albania will remain under the influence of African air masses, causing clear and hot weather to be dominant during the morning hours, but the second part of the day will bring light clouds throughout the mountainous area.

During the night, clouds are expected to extend across the country but no rainfall is expected. Air temperatures will drop slightly in the morning but remain constant in the afternoon, fluctuating daily values from 20°C to 40°C.

The wind will blow light and medium at a speed of up to 35 km/h from the mostly northwest direction, creating waves of up to 2 hertz in the front on the sea coast.

Republic of Kosovo is predicted to remain under the dominance of stable atmospheric conditions, where clear skies will be dominant in a good part of the country and under the influence of very high temperatures for the entire 24 hours.

This synoptic and thermal situation comes as a result of the heat wave that has engulfed the territory, where it is predicted that the highest temperatures will be recorded in the Southwest and South areas.

Sunday brings a light and temporary withdrawal of the African wave from the territory of North Macedonia causing a slight drop in air temperatures by only 1 degree C in both daily extreme values, causing the maximum in the city of Skopje and Manastir to climb up to 38 degrees C at noon.

The morning is expected to be dominated by clear skies throughout the country, while the afternoon will bring cloudy passages, which will be more visible in the East of the territory.
