Three Hours Protest in front of Municipality, Police Calculates Damages

The fifth opposition protest in front of Tirana Municipality ended Tuesday after three hours.

With the same scenario, democrats tried to enter with force inside the Municipality headquarters, but police officers resisted and even used tear gas against the angry crowd.

Same as other four protests, the opposition protesters throw molotov bombs and pushed the police officers to break their human fence.

But the result was the same, they only caused material damages and the main door of Tirana Municipality was not touched.

Now at the end of three hours, police is inspecting the area to calculate the damages and identify the perpetrators.

So far all those arrested for damaging the public property were released few days later by the court.
