Tirana Prosecution Seizes Assets of Ilber Domi, While Being Under Investigation in Germany for Drugs
Tirana Prosecutor's Office requested the seizure of the assets of Ilber Domi, declared internationally wanted by Interpol in Wiesbaden, Germany. He faces charges of 'Trafficking of narcotics' and 'Possession and sale of military weapons and ammunition,' as stipulated in the German Criminal Code.
Regarding the asset investigation case no. 01, dated 17.01.2024, Tirana Prosecutor's has confirmed that German authorities are investigating the above-mentioned for the criminal offense of "Trafficking of narcotics," an offense defined by Law no. 10192.
The asset investigation into citizen I.D. and his family members for the period 2011-2024 revealed that his income is significantly lower than the total value of his investments and personal expenditures.
The findings from the asset investigation into I.D. and his relatives show that he was engaged in the criminal activity of 'Trafficking of narcotics', out of which he has accumulated assets that cannot be justified by his income or legitimate business activities.
Therefore, pursuant to the law 'On Preventing and Combating Organized Crime, Trafficking, and Corruption through Preventive Asset Measures,' Tirana Prosecutor's Office requested the seizure of assets, and the court approved the following assets’ seizure:
-A plot of land (Property No. 116/27) spanning 850 m² in Zall Herr, Tirana;
-An apartment covering 113.8 m², including 77.7 m² of usable space, 11.3 m² of common areas, along with a 24.8 m² veranda; and
-A unit with a total area of 98.8 m², plus two parking spaces, numbered P53 and P54, ordered as per the contract.
