Durrës Port Authority has communicated an announcement for passengers who have booked a trip to Italy this Wednesday, which says that there will be no departures from the Port of Durres to Ancona, until a second announcement.

The notice also explains all the rules and measures that passengers must take to travel.

“Notice for passengers who have booked the travel today to Italy, dt.26.08.2021

In the absence of a ferry line GNV and Adria Ferries, due to the defect suffered in Italy, we inform passengers who have booked flights to Italy that:

1. Today there will be NO departure from the Port of Durres to Ancona, until a second announcement.

2. While the ferries of Durrës-Bari line will continue with the cruises normally in these schedules:

Ferry "Rigel III", AGENCY Ventouris / Duni, departure time from the Port of Durres, 13.00

Ferry "AF Marina", Adria Ferries / GNV Agency departure time from the Port of Durres, 13.00

Ferry "Rigel II", AGENCY Ventouris / Duni, departure time from the Port of Durres, 23:59

3. Regarding the evening cruises with Adria Ferries and GNV lines, the new departure times are as follows:

Ferry "SAGA", Adria Ferries Agency, departure time from the Port of Durres, 23.59

Ferry "AF Claudia", Adria Ferries Agency, departure time from the Port of Durres, 23.59

In order to avoid queues or traffic congestion within the territory of the Port, Check-in for these two voyages will be enabled today starting at 13:00.

We invite travellers to contact for any ambiguity with the agencies where they have booked travel tickets, as well as on our GREEN line 0800 73 74.

We also remind passengers and drivers of their obligation to respect Covid protocols, safety distances and wearing masks at Port facilities and on board.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, the Maritime Administration, the General Maritime Directorate and the Durrës Port Authority are taking measures for the Ferry Operators to normalize the cruise calendar to Italy, including the possibility to provide replacement or additional ships, respecting the right of passengers to refund case of cancellations according to the legislation and standards of maritime transport.
