Senior adviser of the US Department of State, Derek Chollet, has asked the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu?i?, to take steps to help mitigate the crisis in northern Kosovo. 

Through the social networks, Chollet said that Vucic should return to the path of constructive engagement in dialogue. 

"Encouraged Serbian President Vucic yesterday to urge calm among Kosovan Serbs, take steps to help defuse the crisis in the north of Kosovo, and return to the path of normalization and constructive engagement in the EU-facilitated Dialogue", tweeted Chollet.
