On the eighth anniversary of the unanimous approval of the constitutional amendments that opened the way for justice reform, the US Embassy to Albania congratulated the people of Albania for their support in its irreversible implementation. 

"As we have said all along, justice reform was not going to be easy, quick, or perfect, but it is producing results and making Albania a stronger democracy. We are proud to have stood with the people of Albania in this difficult and courageous endeavor. We will continue to stand by Albania's justice institutions and citizens as they make progress in combatting corruption and bringing Albania closer to the Euro-Atlantic community of nations," said statement.
