From the online meeting of the Municipality Council, the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj said that no one can remove him from this institution. 

While the opposition protesters were urging outside the municipality's doors, Veliaj said that he enjoyed the today's experience at the Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK) and only the people can remove him with vote. 

"I invite the council to focus on its work and not on violence. I am where today, let the rabbits stay day and night outside, no one but the people can remove us from the municipality. Those who are cowards are those who do not go to SPAK, they cannot threat us. 

I am saying to all those who protest outside, that I will not go away with Molotov cocktails, but I will work even harder. I will also say that I did enjoy as a professional experience the way I communicated with SPAK colleagues and I encourage Altin Dumani to move forward alone", said Veliaj.
