Vlora, Distress Signal by Tourist Yacht Stranded at Sea
A yacht with tourists has released this Tuesday the Save Our Ship (SOS) signal tonight in Grama Bay, Karaburun Peninsula of Vlora.
Based on the authorities’ announcement, the yacht with tourists has issued the SOS signal after there was a defect in the engine, meanwhile the border police and the coast guards have immediately departed for the scene.
Meanwhile, there are 11 tourists on the yacht and it is suspected that the defect came as a result of the waves. Fortunately, no danger was posed on the people on board, and the vessel had not lost its hermeneutics and navigability.
"Today around 18:00 the inspector ı ZMTD received a notification from the relatives of a vessel, with 11 people on board which was located near the bay of St. John ı which had suffered cracks in a pipeline.

At around 18:15, the vehicles of DRKM Vlora and the vehicles of Delta Force started in the direction of the vessel in case of danger to their lives.
At 18:30, the Delta Forc vessel went to the scene, took the people on board and accompanied the vessel to the port of Orikum Navy without any problems ", declared the Captaincy of Vlora.
