After 4 years in a row rated as the best mobile network in the country, Vodafone receives a certification for their fixed network quality for the first time. One of world’s leading companies in quality testing of digital infrastructures, umlaut, published the results of the latest tests conducted in Albania for the fixed network, and according to the results, Vodafone Albania has received the highest scores for all fixed network performance indicators.

In an online ceremony, umlaut CEO Hakan Ekmen, virtually handed over the award to Vodafone Albania and congratulated Vodafone team for adding something on top in Albania and reaching great results in fixed broadband benchmarking survey.

“Congratulations to Vodafone for the best in-home user experience in Albania. This is remarkable in these tough COVID times because it is necessary to have a good connection at home to cope with home schooling and similar challenges!” Hakan Ekmen, CEO Telecommunication at umlaut stated.

Meanwhile, Vodafone Albania CEO, Achilleas Kanaris, said that: “We are very proud of this achievement! Although we have been operating for a short time in the fixed market, our commitment to develop and invest in the fixed network infrastructure have shown results. We offer now the best mobile and fixed network to our customers all over Albania. This aligns with our aspiration to enable a digital society in the country. Umlaut has analyzed the quality of fixed internet in Albania, testing the performance of services national wide. Based on the performed tests, Vodafone Albania scored 709 out of 1000 points in regards to total fixed network performance, results suggesting once again the high standard in the quality of services provided by Vodafone in Albania.
